100% truth, I start talking about things I feel or think as a vet and people either don't care or it's to much for them, it's really hard sometimes to talk about things because we can't always go in detail, you have pain you can't talk about because it's scary even for you to relive over and over and no one has their hands out trying to help we have to deal on our own

I can relate to this as i deal with PTSD, Depression, social anxiety and more. My story would shock everyone and ask how im still alive because got bullied really badly because i have a disability and still get bullied for it as well. I been through mental, emotional and sexual abuse as well as people use me for my kindness. I never really had a childhood because of this because i had to grow up definitely because my parents are so strict and treat me so differently then a normal person that i want. And the worst part is that i hate myself for having a disability i want to be normal…. Even tho im a disability advocate its hard to be in this life where everyone treats disability people like they can’t do anything or treat them as monsters. I hate it

Wasilla alaska!! You don't don't know how excited i got when I saw the notification that citizen soldier dropped a new song, and even more so when I saw it was a collaboration with skydaddy and citizen soldier!!!

I love this song so much already!!! I would like to share about the fact that I committed on the lyric video for it about my personal experience with dealing with this. I was SA’d and my girlfriend of 8 months didn’t like how I’d changed. I had always been fun and outgoing and didn’t really know how to feel embarrassed or threatened I guess. After I was SA’d I changed a lot, I never wore super revealing clothes before, except for once after I found out my partner at the time cheated on me. And when I was SA’d I was wearing a floor length dress and my shoulders were completely covered. I went from always trying to look put together and nice to sweatpants, no makeup, and hoodies, the hoodies were mainly to hide my SH. My gf told me I was being dramatic and asked why I wouldn’t act like how I used to (keep in mind I still had to see the person who assaulted me). She also got upset when we would be walking and my assaulter would walk past (we worked together) and I would move to the mother side of her and cling to her. It got so bad she stopped talking to me for two weeks. I would like to say that it’s been a year since I was SA’d, 10 months since I stopped SH, and 7 months since I realized my worth and ended my relationship. Thank you for all you do!
